ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

question about rim and tire size.

i was wanting to put 15 inch rotas on my accord without going with low profiles. this being cause i don't want to lower my car. was wondering what would be the best size tire to hide all that extra space between the tire and the fender well. im getting a front lip to make it look lower then it is. i just want the lower look without lowering it, if you understand what im talkin about. i also wanna get the right size so i dont feel every rock and bump in the road like i've had in the past with previous rims with low profile tires.

I'm running 195/65-15 tires on Ruby with essentially stock suspension. The higher aspect ratio (stock tire is 195/60-15 for the aluminum wheels) puts a little more tire in the opening. I did this to somewhat counteract the gear ratios in the Prelude transmission (sold to me reportedly as an Accord transmission). You can see pictures in my 90 LX MRT. I don't think it makes it look lowered, just looks like a bigger tire. Depending on your wheel width, you might be able to go slightly wider (205) which would also give you a slightly taller sidewall.

thanks for the info fleet. any and all is good to me cause this is my first honda i've ever owned, and i'm trying to do and learn a lot on my own. so far i've changed my transmission fluid, redone custome door panels and speaker covers, ran a system (which was a bitch to get through the firewall), and made a custome boot for my gear shifter. i'm in the process of fixing my leaky trunk. i had to remove my system cause it started to mildew my box.
