ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Rims off an 87 Cressida wont fit?

Ok so i bought my Accord 5 months ago and i had bought these rims off craigslist for like $50 they have great tires and everything. But i went to put on the rears and the studs werent long enough so i got extended studs. I have the rears in and they still wouldnt fit i found out the hub on the Cressida tires was too small by just a little so yesterday i took my grinder to it and ground them down til they fit and the rears fit beautifully. Now i went to put on the fronts and the caliper has this handle looking thing and it wont let me get the rim all the way on so i was wondering if there are any aftermarket or stock calipers from another model would help me fit these rims

Well first you need to find the wheels specs, size and offset. Then go from there. I haven't even heard of someone using them on a cb so not to sure on how many mm spacers you need.

You can shave some of the caliper to fit the wheels also..

The hub bore is 4mm too small, and the offset is about 20-25mm too low. Use wheels that are made to fit your car.

                  what he means is

you had to make modifications to the rim and your car to make the rears fit

and now you will be making modifications to your brakes (a safety system) to get the fronts fit

Ok i see what you guys are saying its really not worth it to change everything just for these rims. But that leads me to another question are there brake calipers out there that will be stronger and slimmer than the stock ones i have that i could maybe pull off another honda?

use the search function and look for threads about calipers

see if you can resell the rims
