ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    brand new carbon fiber trunk

Has anybody ever brought a brand new carbon fiber trunk and has to drill the holes for the tail lights? i just wanna how would figure out where to drill the holes? It is not as easy as just put he light where is goes because the light slide into place not straight in

    #2
The tail lights don't slide into anything. If there isn't any holes you will have to drill them.

Take the lights out of an OEM trunk, then make a template for where the holes should be. You can probably just do one side, then flip it over for the other, they should be symmetric.

its probably carbon creations. ive been watching them on ebay forever.

"Carbon Creations is one of the most sought after brands by motorsport professionals. All Carbon Creations aerodynamics are manufactured to the highest quality standard to ensure proper fitment and durability. Every part is made with Grade A carbon fiber and finished with a premium clear coat for UV protection. Carbon Creations parts are up to 70% lighter than OEM parts, increasing performance and style. Whether on the track or at the show, Carbon Creations has what you need. 100% Grade A Carbon Fiber High Gloss Finish UV Coating High Quality Mesh Grille (where applicable) Maximum Strength & Durability Authenticity Badge General Instruction Guide Hardware Kit Up To 70% Lighter Than OEM Factory Parts 1 Year Limited Warranty"

but that's just a general description. no shipping weight is given either

Thanks for the idea, but sadly i have a coupe and the cf trunk only came in sedans. I guess i can go to the junkyard and do it.

you could use a digital home scale, its what i use. i just weigh my self before then weigh myself with the item and get the difference.

Only cb coupe trunk that's different is 9293. Tho all 3 are interchangable (9091 coupe and sedans are same, 9293 sedan/coupe different) The key for the trunk won't work but u can swap/do something to make your exsisting key fit to the matching lock.

Oh Yeah, the cf trunks only are made for 92 93 sedan style. You'll need at least the inner tails from a 92 93 sedan, unless you want to cut up the carbon fiber one you got and glass your coupe garnish and make it work that way somehow.

You didn't specify you had a coupe in the original post.

so you have a 90/91 coupe then? they don't make red/clears for 92-93 coupes.
