ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Aftermarket window visors

so i was browsing ebay and came across these window visors. i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. Ive always wanted some for my CB, and just recently came across an OEM Sunroof visor. Since ive had no luck finding OEM ones, these are tempting to try out for the price. What do you guys think?

Get them if you want. The skinny 3m tape it comes with sucks though. So get a roll

I would have to agree. I bought some coupe ones off ebay. The 3m it comes with is not that good. It did last for about a year and a half til it the visors started flapping on the highway. I had to remove the old 3m stuff and put on thicker 3m tape. Its been a year with the new 3m and still sticky as day one lol

If you do end up getting them, I still would suggest to replace the 3m that comes with it and put on a more reliable one, even if it seems "okay" and still sticks. Just to prevent any issues later that will occur.

Ive only seen 2 Sunroof visors at the JY. One was cracked and the other went home with me, installed right in the lot, couldnt wait till i got home

As for the sedan window visors, i have yet to come across them here in the central valley. im gonna start to branch out more. i currently go to 3 yards. Scored a complete fog harness last time i went too bad that was all that was left

Wow lucky you, I have yet to come across OEM visor where I'm from. Make sure you prep and clean the surface with rubbing alcohol or similar, it will make a night and day difference.

Just got the visors. I like them, but as soon as i find OEM visors ill switch them out for sure. But for now im happy. They look nice, and now my rear driver side window that never fully rolls up,(Always leaves ~3cm gap), is safe from rain Ill try and get a few pics up soon so you guys can see.
