ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Coupe/Sedan Wheelbase

So i was looking at specs of the cb7s at edmunds.com, and i decided to check the wheelbase differences, and was pretty surprised to see they are the same at 107.1 inches, does anyone know if that website has incorrect info?

Coupe sedan and wagon have the same wheel base and are the same length.

Ok, so do the coupes have longer doors? / could you get a coupe door from a junk yard and slap it on a sedan?

If you did a 3 second google search you would clearly see that a coupe door is much larger than a sedan/wagon one.

Just tried that and all the results list dimensions for the whole car or speaker size dimensions, i was hoping someone that knows from experience might know if they are the same, but thanks though

Yes you can slap a coupe door on sedan, it just won't shut.

LOL. Sedan, coupe, and wagon are all 107.1 inch wheelbase. Like almost any car, the wheelbase is the same and the front doors are different.

it might be safer to do that in a junkyard. IDK what I would do if I saw someone staring at my car in a parking lot, let alone taking a measuring tape to it!

A coupe door is about 10 inches longer than the sedan front door.

I was toying with doing this: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=195156

Exactly what are you going to do with this information? Declare yourself a genius? This is common knowledge to probably at least 50% of the active community.

I am not trying to declare my self as a genius, i just wanted to know the exact differences is all, my brother used to have a 90 ex coupe, and at the time i had a 89 accord sedan, he sold his, and my 5th gear went out and i got rid of mine and bought my current 91 lx sedan, i guess the coupe doors did seem a little longer, i am just curious as to exaxtly how much longer
