ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Any Major Differences in a 92' EX vs 90' LX

I was wondering if there are any major differences in these models. I know that I have read on here in multiple threads people mentioning differences in the models. I am looking into getting a 92' ex and using my 90' lx as a parts car for the time being, the ex has all the features I want. They are both 5 speeds the 92' has a sunroof, but other than this, is there any parts that are not interchangeable between the two models?

Sorry to everyone. I found this thread http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=21193 it answered this question. I appologize for the inconvenience. If anyone has any added information This would still be appreciated.

There are lots of differences. But it all still bolts up. front bumper, grill and lights. Tail lights and trunk. Internal coil versus external coil dizzy. Intake, cam, exhaust, transmission gearing. Shoulder belts. ECU. sure the are more differences.

You got a bunch of the biggies. The rear bumper and side moldings are different as well. There are slight differences in the gauge clusters as well.

The LX lacks the rear swaybar and rear disc assembly of the EX and the associated ABS hardware. The EX would have slightly upgraded cloth in the interior (although I've always found the 90-91 EX cloth interior as the best of the CB generation, but that's personal bias). The driver's seat would have an armrest and the full length center console.

I'm sure I'm missing other pieces here and there, but I think those are the biggest component differences.

Just about everything from one car will swap into the other.
