ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    I need explanation about taillights.

Hello CB owners, i`m new here and i want your advise. I had EG and now have CR-V RD1 for family car, but i want something to play with Before a month i saw some CB Accords in FB and i fall in love I have a little dilema and need help. Here in Bulgaria i can choose btw 3 CBs (yes they are very rare cars here in EU) with same price ... about 1300$. My plan is to make the car black and put some aftermarket taillights (red/white) but i read here that taillights are different. Here are the pictures of the cars ass

This one is coupe and i`m a big fan of 2 door cars

This one is sedan. The taillights look absolutely the same to me. Can some1 please explain me the diffs btw sedan-coupe (i saw here somewhere about some trunk mod) and is there some diffs btw before and after facelift ones ? I can`t find a topic with pics and explanations.....wikipedia doesn`t helped me tooo. Thank you for your time and if here is some topic with pics please gimme link to read.

So i did some research on the internet and some EU sites for cars and found that all coupes in EU have the same taillights like sedans. So for EU they come with trunk mod already done Now everything is clear for me, i`ll pick the blue coupe Thanks again for your time

That seems to be correct. In the US, the coupe tail lights are longer. Since your license plates are longer, the shorter sedan-style inner tails are used. Makes it easy for you, for sure!
There is a different before and after the facelift, yes. It seems that both of those cars are 92-93 models. The 90-91 tails had the amber part up top. They don't look as good, I feel. I have a 92, so perhaps I'm biased!

I'd almost hate to see that blue one painted black. We don't have that color in the US, so that one looks really cool! Black is one of the most common CB colors. Either way, good luck with your choice, and keep us updated!

Saturday i`ll go to see the blue coupe. The guy told me that coupe has rear disk brakes. Motor is 135hp....when i check sites for new brake disks it appears 282mm or 262mm front but for rear the only choice is 260mm Car is with 14" wheels so fronts are not 282mm cuz 282mm need 15". What size brake disks have Accord Coupe 94 ? 262/238mm like Civic 5gen VTI or ?

The 282mm discs are probably for wagons, which have larger front brakes. All CB Accords with rear discs have the same size discs. I'm not entirely sure on the size for the rear (though I'd assume that 260 is correct, if that's all you can find listed.) I just converted my rear drums to discs last year, and I haven't really driven the car since!
The engine in that car should be the F20A7.

I'd definitely go for that blue coupe I never even noticed that the American coupes have longer tail lights, I would've felt really stupid getting some from a junk yard. lol Saved by Deev once again!!
