so, this winter while pulling into work, my car slipped on some ice and i rear ended my co worker while trying to turn into a parking space, no damage to his car, no scratches or dents, not even in the slightest to my fender or bumper, because the corner light took the impact. the area where the corner light sits on my 93 accord is in pristine condition by some miracle, but there a big gapping hole now. so what i was thinking of doing, was when i buy my intake, buying some extra tubing and molding some sheet metal into the precise shape of the corner light, (from the outside view) so it doesnt look like some mismatched weird spot but flows with the contours and curves of the fender hood and bumber. drilling a hole through that metal to vent the intake into, now my question is (after the long winded explanation) what tools do i need to cut and b end the sheet metal ever so slightly to fit perfectly and is there any advice that you guys can offer in this endeavour?

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Will you be replacing the corner light with a gaping hole? If so, police won't like that. That's a primary turn signal.
The aerodynamic shape of the Accord's front end will likely result more in the air flowing over the hole, creating a vacuum, rather than ramming air into it. It may work, but I have a feeling it won't be a help at all.

Ya idk about that. Althought the eks have a headlight delete kit that u can put a intake behind the headlight. What my friend did was just put it behind the bumper. From my own lil experiments. The shorter the tubin the quicker your throttle response willl be. That's y mines is so short. But do some research on it. Get some idea's. Best place to duct air from is the cowl (not the easiest, but not hard). The outer most, leading edge of the bumper, will have a good bit of pressure, but wont look good and will prolly be just as tricky to duct as the cowl. And will prolly affect aerodynamics.
I like a short ram style intake, with a proper cool air box with a duct to vent in unobstructed air flow. My Civic picked up a pile of mpg with this design, with proper tuning.

valid point by deev, although my corner lights have never worked due to a bad harness on both sides and ive never gotten any trouble for it. idk its merely an idea ive been playing around with, would the shape really affect the intake that much, i figured the way that it sits and the position it would be better because the air would just go straight in.
