ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Most people do consider such things. People don't understand how dangerous a setup like that is. They figure that since you can buy the parts so easily practically everywhere that they must be safe! Nobody realizes that putting cheap crap on your car is going to be risking their own lives, not the lives of the part manufacturer!
Most of those parts will have fine print somewhere saying "for off road use only"... which means they are clear of any responsibility for people who use their parts on public roads, which, as they damn well know, is practically EVERY ONE of their customers.

Extended tophats provide more travel for the shock piston. It won't allow the car to go any lower than the rest of the suspension will permit, however. It will just ensure that you have a functional shock when you DO go that low.
Honestly, if you're so low that you have to extend your tophats, your car is probably far too low to be practical on public roads. You may think it looks cool, but trust me... most people, outsiders and experienced tuners alike, are most likely laughing at you.
Dumped cars are like skinny jeans. Dumb kids think it looks cool. Everyone else thinks it looks stupid. That's my opinion, anyway.
BigJakecb9, you're 20 years old, right? Were you taught how to use punctuation in school? Have you forgotten already? We communicate through typed words... it helps a great deal if we can understand what you type.

The cheap ebay coilovers only allow you to go so low with stock struts, generally the back will go lower people call it boat look. If you extend the tophats the suspension will have more travel, so instead of riding on the foam stoppers your spring will actually work. Some people also cut their foam in half but i wouldnt advise doing it.
