Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    any way to lower your car thats already been lowered?

    I have a 1991 CB and the gap between the fenders and the wheels in the front.I just want to lower the front a little more is there any ideas to achieve thisI'm currently lowered on Eibach 2" drop springs with Koni struts.
    please shoot any ideas

    you could either go with a full coilover like F&F's or put different, lower springs (or GROUND CONTROL coilover sleeves, no other kind) on your koni's.

    either that or put the car on air.

      You have Konis already, Id say Ground Control coil overs.

        I mean the suspension is pretty new I don't want to get rid of it already.has anyone cut a coil off a spring. If so how is the ride?

            What? Cut. I'm not trying to mop off half the spring. I just want to lower it a tad. But I don't want to go blow another 2-6 bills on a set of coils just to lower the front.

              The spring is design to work as a whole.

                  It wont get you much but is your damper all the way seated in the wishbone?

                      Because I don't have anything to replace that suspension setup for the time being. And I don't really have time to go to the junk yard and pick something up.

                          Koni Yellows? or Koni Oranges?
                          I`m on Koni Yellows w/Tein S-Techs, Front Perches lowest ring, rear is at "stock", middle ring.

                          Our cars front fenders sit higher then the rear, so if you have 2" drop springs all around its still gonna have the "boat look", ass sagging.

                          Koni Yellows you can take it a step futher and adjust the spring perches.

                            You don't have many options, if any at all with Koni's and Springs. Coils are your best bet if you want to do it right and not sacrifice safety and how well the car rides.
