I'm sure it is really ugly (sorry) in the areas hidden by the ends of the bumper as well.

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

this is one of the reasons why i like living in texas where it never snows. But it looks like there is going to be a lot of work that needs be done to get the rust problem fixed. IMO you will be better off and it'll be cheaper to find another car with less rust :/FRIENDS

Thats crazy that there are only 35 left. I wish the USA had some sort of vehicle tracking database.. Ive repaired minor rust on older vehicles with bondo and spray can filler with great long lasting results. Rust repair can become expensive really quick, especially with quater panels. It wouldnt hurt to attempt to atleast stop it your selfjust so it wont look like a POS on the road. I have some minor rust on my cb7 as well ill get up pics this weekend.

Due to apparantly there only been 35 left on the road i snapped it up and followed my heart! without thinking how im gonna repair it. basically the rear arches are shot on one side. infront on the offiside arch has gone completely and behind the arch the bumper is hanging off. the near side isnt too bad but still needs attention. im in two mind to have some small pieces put in at work or to put in full new arches. The problem is with the latter is finding some, unfortunately been in England noone seems to care about these cars anymore.
So basically im after some advice on how to tackle the problem, what you did or what someone else did. I dont have any photos of the rust at the minute but can get some if needed.

Try walking like that for a few weeks and see if your shoes wear funny! (hint: they will.)
