ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

How to install the bumper bra? Need instructions.

    Hey guys,
Does any one knows how on earth can I install this bumper bra/mask for my 90 Accord? I need instructions and I cannot find it any where. I know I don't need to take the bumper cover off but do I need to take any thing off to install it snugly?
This is what I bought. I also bought the hood bra but I think that one should be easy.

    Thanks.

I also need the nose mask hardware kit, part number 08P35-SL0-200R1. I wonder if we could just buy these from the hardware store.
    Thanks.

Btw the site has you hardware. You can try to find it in the hardware store, will take some time finding it though. Good luck on the install.

My complete Bra came with instructions. Let me see if I still have the box in the car.

The mask I bought didn't come with hardware. Could I just reuse the plastic clips or must I use the hardware kit from Honda, fenderwell nut, washer and screw?
Any one did it with just the plastic clips?
          Thanks.

I called the Honda dealers near me and they all said the hardware kit is not made any more. I wonder if the newer kits are the same for all Hondas? The newer kit is only $5 and I have to order it first.
Any one knows please pass the info along.
            Thanks.

The bumper is brand new and the hood isn't.

It looks cleaner in the pics, I don't know why. But if you see it in person, it has all the little dusty areas. I have to park outside and no carport or garage. It's been like that for 4 plus years. I feel bad. I try to clean it each week a little. Some times I leave it for 2 weeks. Since we don't have rain much around SoCal, I try to clean it with 2 buckets of water and try to keep the water away from the little openings and cracks to keep the rust off.
Here are more pics. I never took pics when I first got it. All the parts mostly are original from the car when I bought it.

Nice picts though. That as happened to me couple of times. The previous owner of my sedan cleaned the car everyweekend and the car looked like NEW even though needs some paint but now Im just like you and even more there's a girl on the way I will try to make time to clean the car. And the rust is inevitable man. It'll get to our cars sooner or later.
