ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    92-93 bumper on 91?

Does it bolt right over? Or are there mods to getting this done?

Yes, it bolts right up. No mods needed, but there will be a gap under your headlights and grille.

To elaborate on what Dj_ender said.

90/91 bumper, grille, and headlights will work on the 92/93. No gap if you use everything.

If you mix and match parts there still will be a gap.

How would i know if my bumper is a 92-93 bumper? i have a 90 and there is a gap between my headlights/grille and bumper. i don't know if the previous owner switched it. my bumper has all the paint peeled off so i know something must not be right about it

You have a 90-91 bumper. Looks to me like the center of the support bracket is bent, so it looks 'saggy'. Switch your bumper to the 92-93 and it will look fine, I had it like that for a while, there is a slight gap if you don't do the headlights and grill.

Wats different with the headlights? Or are they the same and the headlights brackets are different? I can't have no unrully gaps. Thanks guys!

The brackets are the same I believe ( someone correct if I'm wrong) the lens is curved differently.

Great reference thanks so much. I think ill stick with the 90-91 I do like the 92-93 how it scoopes in under the amber turn lights. But I already have once peice headlights and black emblemless grill and I don't want a gap! Haha. Now to find a replacment bumper.. thanks yalll

You do jot have gaps under the corners, so its the correct bumper. If you had a 93 bumper on a 91 the gap would be even from side to side. I heard the support is different, I know the headlights are for sure, as well as the grille. Guess I need to double check on the bumper support as I always heard it was different.

I hate to sound out off topic but what about the trunk conversion from 90-91 to a 92-93? Is that a direct bolt on?

Yes, It is a direct bolt on. The only people that would want to do this are the 92/93 coupe guys. The inner tail lights for the 92/93 coupes are different than any other year.

                        Sorry OP about the

To clarify, when he says that only the '92-'93 coupe guys would want to do the conversion he's referring to those who want aftermarket tail lights. If you have a '92-'93 coupe and do not want aftermarket tail lights then there's no reason for the swap.
