ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

So I'm looking into getting one and I'm noticing them saying 280mm 320mm what is this referring to?

I'd say diameter of the steering wheel.

As long as you get the correct hub, it should fit. The diameter is all looks and personal preference. Too big and it will feel like a bus, too small and you will feel like cheech and chong with the chain wheel.

Im not sure you grasp the basics of how aftermarket quick disconnects and steering wheels work or not, so I'll start at the beginning.

To install a removable, aftermarket steering wheel, you need three main parts; the hub, the quick disconnect, and the steering wheel itself.

                The hub:
This is a simple adapter that bolts to the spline of the stock steering shaft and have a circle of threaded holes on the front. Our cars use the same hubs as 92-95 civics and 94+ integras. CD accords do not use the same spline as our cars, they are bigger.

                The quick disconnect:
This is just a simple pair of flanges that come apart and have the necessary mounting holes for the steering wheel and hub. while it is a simple piece, fit and finish is critical to optimal use; you dont want your wheel wobbling around while you are driving. Due to this, I highly suggest against ebay crap. NRG is fairly expensive, but have good fit and finish with no slop and nice, positive locking device. This is the quick disconnect I recommend.

                The steering wheel:
This is pretty much just personal preference, but dont cheap out here either. I have seen friends of mine literally bend their cheap wheels in half.
