ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

565 on the bay for the cup kit.. (theyre 1200+ MSRP) about as much as eibach and str.ts..but the konis and h&r springs are matched up ..excellent ride

As far as coil over's and the people on here..over kill..i think 3/4 of the people get the CO's for bragging rights and have no clue of their customizable potential settings other than slamming their shit yo..which is NOT what the CO's are for. Ah well its their money right. You want to drop your jalopy get some ebay sleeves and some dampers that will handle them. You want to whip corners like nothing get the primo stuff. Im kinda of wondering how well the sleeves would do with a quality dampers like some blues or yellows though. Might be a surprising outcome

Well, the majority of the full coilovers available for our cars probably aren't engineered for much more than just slamming your car yo anyway. So many of them are just cheaply made generic designs.

What do you mean "blues"? Tokico? Tokico "blues" are practically stock replacement. They are shit shocks for performance. Even Koni Yellows are bargain basement in terms of performance.

Crap "ebay" sleeves are inconsistent, and poorly made. They won't do well in serious driving. Sleeves like those from Ground Control are arguably better than damn near anything you can get in a "full" coilover (though F&F has finally released the 2.5, which uses Eibach springs, much like Ground Control does.)
Ground Control sleeves, properly set up, paired with Koni Yellows, or better yet, custom-valved Bilsteins... THAT would be a quality setup. Still quite basic compared to true race coilovers, but probably the best we're going to get short of a one-off setup costing thousands.

I got to drive mndude's cb with the neuspeed cup kit before he crashed it and it was the best handling front wheel drive car I've ever driven.
I wish I had got to drive his too before that lol. Anyhow I do believe he and I had the same setup on my sedan. And I now have a 2nd setup on my blue coupe that I have. Rides great and is low enough to where I like it. As for my white CB it is on KYB struts and Goldline race springs and those ride like stock but just sit a tad lower and it's great!!!

Thanks Man. I wish I never sold that car. But I got into a 97 only to wrap it around a Pole 1 month later.

I got rid of the Arrows a few years later after I got tiered of filling the tires up with Air every morning becasue the wheels where so OLD. Wish they made them still..Love the that look. Its hard to fine a nice wheel for our Cars in a 4 lug. Found some nice ones Finaly and just ordered them yesterday cant wait to throw them on and put in the H&R's.

              Pics to come soon..
