ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Quick HID in Bumper Light Question

I have a 91 EX and I want HIDs in my OEM bumper lights. So when I get the H3 Bulbs, is it just plug and play? Can I just put the new bulbs in the place of the old ones and be done? Or is it a lot more to it? Thanks in advance

just curious but why would you want/need to have HID's in your bumper light?

Your bumper lights are your turn signals. Flashing HIDs like that will destroy them very quickly.

Its not as easy as that. The bulbs in the bumper light aren't H3 either.

your car... so im not gonna tell you not to im just gonna tell you its probably a bad idea for a few reasons.

1 HIDs are super bright and are meant to be used with a good projector as to better control your light beam without blinding others on the road

2 someone correct me if I'm wrong, but an HID bulb would most likely melt your bumper light after prolonged use. Especially if your planning on wiring it to stay on like a fog light as some members have done before. why? who knows!

but to answer your original question no the bulbs in the bumper lights aren't h3's so the hid's wouldn't fit nor would they plug into the oem harness

Haha. I wanted to say it but I'm too humble today lol. It's good to think outside the box but in this case, it hurts more than it helps.

For my next mod, I'm going to make my low beams blink while I blind everyone (while melting my housings in about 5 minutes) with my HID bumper lights.

why do you people have to make fun of the guy(or every noob on here)? either help or stay out! i think rice is nice so f*ck your OEM. lol hahaha im soo funny. some of you need to read the rules again. NO QUESTION IN THE BEGINNER SECTION IS STUPID.

to the op- the h.i.d aren't going to work, and i don't know of any brighter lights but you could get the led strips in the bumper lights (clear bumper lights) with the led strip and still have an orange blinker installed. or get white blinkers that stay on (STUPID VIP LOOK). i think that would look like fogs! good luck on getting what you want done.
