ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Cb7 Eyelids: Where can I get them?

I was thinking that I wanted some eyelids for my Cb7, well at first I was going to paint them, but then I found this, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Accord...#ht_500wt_1413 , so I dont know if I should buy them or just go ahead and paint them. Any advice is welcome. Im new to all this is my first Cb7....

thats your best option ( the link you provided ).

real gsquare ones will run you around 100 if not more.

if you go the GTO headlight cover way that will run you about 80 IF YOU CAN EVEN FIND THEM

Why is that the best option?

The cheapest way to achieve the same look would be paint/plastidip.

those look very similar to the 6th gen accord eyelids. I had some eyelids on my 6th gen when I had it. I want to say it was a bit too long but with a little trimming and double sided tape, it could fit on the cb. Too bad im not a fan of eyelids on cb7's lol

Unless you have JDM 1-piecers, or shave off the USDM "nipples" (used for alignment), that particular style of headlamp eye-lid won't work (says Jack_Lee himself).

The GTO headlight visors, cut to form lids, is probably your best bet if you're looking for something of that nature (easily removed). If you just want the eye-lid look and don't care whether or not they can be easily removed, paint them.

Here's a pic of my lidz before i got 1-piecers...they are the GTO visor method. They do not need to be secured by double sided tape. Due to the design of the GTO visor, the hood will hold them in place.

well, my headlights are not one piece JDM and they do have the ¨nipples¨ so your saying that GTO visors are the best method? If so.. (excuse the stupid question Im new to all this, is my first car, plus im from puerto rico, my english is not 100%) what are GTO visors and how am I going to fit them?

Try looking up plstidip on google or youtube. Its getting very popular among the car scene. What it pretty much is removable paint. Just mask the bottom portion of the headlight and paint. I was thinking of doing this to my headlights also.
