ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

True. But at least those things aren't a safety hazard. They just look stupid when done tastelessly.
Low offset wheels running extreme camber result in serious wear on the inside of the tires. I've seen countless "stanced" cars with absurd camber wear, some showing belts. The excuse is always "I can't afford new tires right now"

Then don't get a 0 offset, or they'll be poking out unless you run lots of negative camber.
Or, better yet, learn a thing or two about how offset and wheel fitment work, so you can determine these things on your own. That way, you won't be suckered in by all the trendy ricers that think a car that looks like this /==\ is cool.

Yeah. Most of the "stanced" cars you see gracing magazine covers and website front pages are show cars, weekend cars, or project cars. They aren't daily drivers. That's the bad thing about these crazy trends. The show queens popularize a look, then the naive kids do it to their street cars... only with too little money to do it properly (and in this case, safely!)
The Fast and the Furious popularized body kits and graphics. Laugh all you want at those cars, but those things on the movie cars are done well. The paint is quality, the graphics are properly placed, and the body kits fit well. For a while, those emulating those cars were praised, and the cars looked good. Then the aftermarket became flooded with cheap kits, cheap decals that peel in a month, and people forgot about painting their cars... so you ended up with a bunch of ricers with unpainted kits, peeling decals, and a car that's faded and rusting.
JDM became popular when the trends started abandoning all that flashy stuff. Sure, JDM was cool when you had to have a hookup for the good stuff... or at least deep pockets. Now, "JDM replica" crap is all over, and the ricers don't know the difference. People began rocking "JDM" wheels made in Taiwan, fashioned after more expensive wheels made in Russia. Once the market got flooded with replicas, nobody respected the real JDM cars anymore... criticizing them for being full of overpriced parts.
Now, we have "stance" (the term alone is stupid.) I agree, on a proper magazine queen, the look is cool. But rolling down the highway, riding on the inner edge of your cheap-shit Nexen tires, stretched to the point of tearing on wheels that were never made to fit your car? Not only does it make you look like an idiot, it makes your car REALLY unsafe!
Perhaps my criticism comes off as harsh on this site, but I REALLY don't want to see any of my members crashing their cars. Some of you guys are annoying as shit, but I don't want to see any of you get hurt!
