Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    tire size on a lowered 93?

    Just curious. What you guys with 15's are running for tires I know the stock size for my 94 ex rims call for 195/60 -15 I'm dropping the car 1.75" so I don't want the side wall to rub the inside of the wheel Wells under normal driving or durring compression from a bump. The tire Guy I talked to while putting tires on my fiancée's car said if I'm dropping to go with a 185/60-15 but I don't wanna loose that contact patch. So what are you guys with lowered cb7's running for tires or what do you reccomend.

      Yea man no need to change tire size what so ever. I was running 17x7 konigs with 215/45/17 tires with a 2 inch drop and had no rubbing issues what so ever. If your going for looks 205/50/15 is a nice practical size

        I'm going to be buying smaller tires...but I'm also going to be a lot lower than 1.5". You'll be best with stock tire sizing.

          I had 205-60-15, rubbed abit. Had to modify the wheel wells a little bit.

            I run 1.75 drop. 205-55-16, no offset. Nittos sidewalls rubbed just barley on the back when the suspension really compressed, Falken's and Kuhmos do not. I Don't recommend the Kuhmo's, the ride and handling is not near as good as the Nitto or Falken. and to the question in the OP I ran stock size the drop, no rubbing at all

              If you have to change your overall wheel/tire diameter to accommodate a drop, you're doing something wrong.

                I'm not changing to a 185 ill run the nice 195's I have for my wheels I was more concerned that if I dropped it would I rub side walls on stock sized tires. I didn't wanna go smaller I think tht was just the moron behind the tire counter trying to get me to blow more money on Tires that I didn't need. Why I came to see wht everyone else was running before I went and got tires. Now I just need to put some steelies on so I can clean up and paint my rims ty guys for the help.
