ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

here's a picture of how I aligned my vigor light on my rear C-Pillar (I have a coupe, i dont know if its different between coupes and sedans, but use this as reference)

Corners line up with the mounting tabs, and theres this faint green circle that I lined up the top part of the reading light with. the light is centered by the top and bottom mounting tabs.

the "shaded" portion is the area you keep, and the inner "clean" area is the area you cut and insert the vigor reading lights into. cut little by little until fitment is snug. Doing it this way allows you to retain the function of the factory mounting clips that hold the lights in place. I used a dremel

Lucifer1 has the DIY on how to wire up the lights

IIRC, the green/black wire is power, and the white/blue wire is ground, and the white/red one is the wire to use if you want it to light up with the domelight. Lucifer1's DIY explains how to utilize this wire. can't find it right now though :|

Ooooh, I don't like them installed on the angle like that.

I'd have put them straight across.

I had some ones from a Buick that I test fitted.

Yeah I dont like them mounted that way either. I would mount them straight across or flowing with the pillar.

OP's lights look like they were installed with the care I put a refrigerator magnet on my fridge.

The Buick ones are from a 90's Buick Regal Gran Sport coupe.

Personally,I didn't like it after I installed it, so I never used them.

Wow, that looks useful and stylish in the second picture. I only have the dome light in my 91 EX, which is pretty weak at that. The more light the merrier!
