ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I work as a detailer at a dealership, and while you can go crazy and steam clean your carpet, you really don't need to.
A good spray cleaner, (at work I use industrial "Ducan Snappy Clean") such as Simple Green Max will work good enough.
Spray a section you'd like to work on, and use a medium bristled carpet cleaning brush. Yes, it's manual labour, but it works the dirt, grime, dust and sticky crap out of the carpet. Once you're done scrubbing, vacuum the area and it should look pretty darn good.
Simple Green Max is a great cleaner. It's probably strong enough to kill AIDS, but won't melt your leather seats. I used the stuff on my leather seats last weekend, as my seats were all grimy and covered in a layer of black grime. Using Simple Green and a brush and cloth, my seats came out almost like new.
While there are aerosol upholstery cleaners with an attached brush, all the times I've used them, I've found them to be completely useless.
I can spend a few hours on a car's interior at work to restore it to presentable condition, and I'll tell you, it's worth the work.

I clean some carpet mats strictly with some cleaner and a brush. No need to even vacuum them. I have a nice Simoniz carpet brush and that thing digs really deep and seems to get even the most ground in stains out.
I also have an electric detailing brush, similar to an electric toothbrush, but has several different heads, and it does some wonders on small spot work that I can't do with the big carpet brush.
When you steam clean and shampoo your carpets, it gets all wet and you need to let it dry and it's really just a messy, time consuming process.
Using spray cleaner/degreaser and a brush is really the easiest route to go.
