ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    wheel question

just tryin to get some opinions would an 18 inch wheel with a 215/35 tire on it look to big on an accord keep in mind mine is lowered ?

That's actually just a statement with a question mark at the end...

That size will fit, as long as you get the proper offset. It will most likely rub the plastic splash shield when making sharp turns... of course, that depends on how low you are.

Everything else is up to you. We can't tell you what you like on your car.

thanks for the info my grammer is horrible but i test fitted the wheels with 225/40s and they looked to big on the car then the guy slapped a 215/35 on the wheel and there was like an inch and quarter diff. but didnt get to fit it on the car

Yeah, a 40 aspect ratio is proper for a 17" wheel (a bit small, but that's what most tire shops say is the right size... I prefer 45 on a 17")

Personally, I think 18" is too big... but really just because I would destroy them. I destroy 16s!

I would opt for 215/40. 225/40's are too bulky, but it also depends on the tire width. I think 18's on an Accord look just fine. I like the big faces because they fill up the wheels wells. However, if you are going to run that size, you must compensate by lowering the vehicle a bit more.

Thanks for posting that picture above me. See the wheel gap, THAT is what you need to eliminate in order for you to pull of 18's.
