ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Tow hooks installation??

Can someone please help me on how to,install my front nd rear. Tow hooks (for looks not actual use) please nd thank pics would help a lot

If only for look you can just super glue it to the bumper. lol

For functional towing use... weld it onto the frame or front cross member. Find a spot you like your hook and then weld on it. You can also drill and bolt it down too if you dont have a welder. For the rear ou just have to be creative and weld and place it where you like.

I would drill a small hole and bolt it down ...maybe with a self tapping screw... Or you could always glue it with epoxy like previously said...

Why not secure them properly so they're functional AND "good looking". At least then you won't get laughed at. Non-functional tow hooks are like a big tip on a stock muffler, hubcaps that try to look like alloys (or worse, spinners... ), or stick-on hood scoops.

forgot to mention the stick on Hood pins... lol, no but seriously I would just mount them the correct way and have them functional.

Honestly, if you're just using them for looks, I would return them. Tow hooks are your way of saying "Here you go thieves, come and take it!"

Nail them to the dash, they'll serve about the same purpose and you can even use them as cupholders.

You forgot the magnetic/sticker vents people put on their front fenders.

Like installing an intercooler with no turbo.

Just install the tow hooks the right way and have a use.

for front just bolt it to the bumper support and for the rear find a piece of metal to extend it, since the hook is inside.
