black interior swap

I had some bb6 seats in my old cb and they was amazing i converted all my interior to black go to my Mr thread and check it out the bb6 seats were tough to get in had to do some welding but defenately worth it I believe I was like the 2nd person to put those seats in a cb they sick tho lol

im thinking about doing the same swap but from grey to black my cousin has a neighbor that has had a se 4 dr cb sitting for a long time so im thinking about buying his car and swaping my interior, do you all think there will be any complications in swapping it out? mind this i have a 2dr

Door panels and rear panels will not fit. Dash, seats, centre console, carpet, seatbelts and rear shelf will all fit. Door panels on a 2dr are longer and have different interior handles than a sedan.

Basically everything from the B-pillar back is different. Coupe rear seats will fit in a sedan, but sedan rear seats will not fit in a coupe.

that sucks so mabe i shouldnt bother asking him, i knew the carpet, front seats, console, and dash would fit but i didnt know that the rear seats wouldnt, well then im heading to the junkyard next saturday and see if i can find a cp with rear seats, well thanks for that info very helpfull kuz i wouldve bought that car and struggled with those seats

The only difference with the rear seats is that on the coupe, the bottom cushion has flat sides because the cushion sits inbetween the interior panels.

The sedan and wagon rear seat cushion curves around on the sides where the doors open. I'd suspect you would have issues fitting a sedan rear cushion into a coupe.

If you look hard enough on here, you will find a photo of someone who has put a coupe rear seat into a sedan and you can see the difference.

However, I would still inquire about that car, because you'll make $$$ selling off the black interior pieces.
