ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    black interior swap

i am almost 100 percent done on my maroon to black interior swap. It looks amazing. I have saved the most expensive part for last. FRONT SEATS. I need some good advice on black leather front seats. I found these seat covers on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1990-...item5ae1eeee5b

Has anyone had any experience with seat covers? What aftermarket seats would anyone reccomend? im trying to keep my car looking stock, but im up for anything

$300 just for covers? Ehhh.. dunno about that. Have you looked around your local area for RSX seats?

I would put out the dough for some Katzkin seat covers, front and rear. It's not cheap, but it's brand new, and fits like OEM.

No harder than if you have any other model... and how hard that is depends on how well you understand wiring diagrams. It's not something i would want to do myself, because I don't know much about electrical stuff.

This guy did it, and it looks amazing, now he is very meticulous and took his time.....

Clearly you need to research more on what you want, make a list and go one by one... there's plenty of options. You just have to read a lot......I swapped my entire interior to black, and it wasn't cheap.....

Dash, door panels, carpet, seat belts, trim pieces are the easiest, good luck on getting a black center console....... unless you don't mind painting it, which won't look the same.

good luck to you, and again you need to research more.....

I have been researching so much for the past few months! and yes, i painted my center console black and it looks beautiful. its more glossy than the rest of the car but for some reason i love it haha. i found some s2000 seats and some 99 cl seats, but im afraid i wont be able to wire up the seats.
ps. i dont know that much about cars and the dash swap was the hardest thing i have ever done haha

power would be extreamly easy to get to, you could just tap intot the cigeret lighter, or to one of the extra power spots on the under dash fuse box

These are not " seat covers " like they just lay on your seat all shitty

These require you to remove the fabric and reinstall the leather. It says
Your current cloth comes off then our interior goes on

My daughter wants me to swap her maroon interior to the grey that was in the car she wrecked. I have 2 questions.
First, for those of you who did this, any tips for swapping the dashpad?
Second, the rear deck peice where the back speakers are. Did I read in another thread that peice is next to impossible to remove? If so, should I just dye it the dark grey?

To get the dashboard out i would find a DIY on this website or buy the haynes manual for your honda at a local autoparts store. I ran into a few problems when swapping my dash. These are some tips to keep in mind.

                          1. Use your original dash harness unless you know the new one will be compatible with your car. I have a 90 dx and got a dashboard from a 92lx? I learned the hard way that none of the cluster plugs are compatible.

                          2. Keep all of the screws in a safe place and have the proper tools to do the job. you will need a few size screwdrivers. (a small one for the cluster). you will need a socket set with an extension (to get the steering wheel off)

                          3. be careful with the a/c. dont break the clips the hold the cords.

                          4. Dont force it in, it is pretty fragile

I would paint your rear deck as well as your carpet. i put new carpet in mine and i regret it. it was a pain to put in and a waste of money

What kind of paint? I don't want my carpet to be all stiff.
