ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Hella H3 Foglight replacement bulb

Does anyone have any good/bad reviews about this brand of fog light replacement bulb? I will be putting this in my 92-93 cb9 fog lights with my A/B/C OEM Harness. I would have to do the H3C ==> H3 bulb conversion too am i correct? And If you have any pictures of lighting output that would be appreciated too. I may just get 3000k HIDs for my fogs if these aren't good. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=255137_0_0_

Why not just buy h3c bulbs and avoid converting things?

Buy oem bulbs and get yellow caps from a 87-88 acura legend sedan or 96-98 acura TL

you want the bottom set of caps. They will clip right into OEM foglights if you remove the blockoff sheild inside. The lenses on the top are from a vigor and wont fit. Don't bother with them

These are OEM headlights and OEM foglights with yellow caps

To answer your original question...Hella is a very respected brand.

I have experience with their Yellowstar bulbs, 500 Amber fog lamps, 500FF driving lights and Supertone horns. Each piece is of good quality and I haven't had a single issue with any of them.

Be aware that the newer products are no longer made in Germany, but in India/China. From what I read the initial quality was lower than expected, but it has since come back up.

h3c are almost impossible to find in stores. the conversion takes about 5 minutes and you can get h3 bulbs cheap in stores.. if your going hid then the conversion is not needed.

I'm still debating whether or not to just do the conversion or go HID. I want the output to be high but not so high that its blinding. suggestions ?
