ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Center console on 92/93

This may or may not be the appropriate place for this but im trying to find out. I know the missing switches on the dash of the 92 lx are for sunroof by drivers door side, and the center missing one next to the defrost and hazard is for foglights. What are the 4 missing switches on the center console by the armrest for? I have picked up a cruise control/sunroof switch since I want to put a sunroof in my LX. I have not had any luck finding foglights or the switch. If there was extra accessories for the 4 missing switches what would they have been? If nothing I may just use them for toggles later on.

Thanks I'm learning more and more about these accords each day. I've always liked them just never had one always civics. What is the parking pole for exactly?

        heated seat switches

Antenna half mast switch ( in japan it loweres the power antenna to 50% height )

Bumper pole switch ( bumper pole on the front bumper to assist with parking )

Rear wiper switch ( very rare and have only seen a picture of it in jdm brochures for civics )

        headlight washer switch

Headlight adjuster switch ( in europe it adjusts the height of the light )

Heated mirror switch ( very rare i've only seen 2 before )

Corner sensor switch ( for the corner sensor system that detecs how close you are to things )

Interior brightness switch ( from a 4th gen jdm prelude )

        Foglight switch

Some of the switches light up and some do not ( the interior illumination at night ). A quick way to tell is if the white picture is raised up the switch is not illuminated. If the picture is lowered than the switch is illuminated. Most of the switches use little brown extended light bulbs that burn out easily.

Anyways this is way more than you asked for

The only switches that came in the 4th gen accord ( not from civics or integras which all use the same console switches ) are

        Heated seat switches
        Antenna half mast
        bumper pole
        corner sensor
        headlight adjuster

The bumper pole tells you where your bumper is. Parking is VERY tight in Japan, which is why the poles (and power folding mirrors) are common. It's also probably why large-doored coupes are not very common.

Damn no wonder the parts are so expensive they have all the cool shit. Ive always done the whole civic thing with 17" tires lowered fast and furious look with the big shopping cart look (huge wing on back). This is the first honda I'm doing with as much JDM stuff i can find.

Overpriced JDM stuff is just as "ricey" as the shopping cart wing these days.
Modify your car to meet your own wants and desires as far as appearance and functionality go. That will make it truly yours, free from any trend-following, and respectable for the entire time you own the car. Trends come and go. If you ride one trend wave, and don't hop on the next as it comes along, you'll just be laughed at.
