ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Red/Clear Tailight HELP!!!

Okay so I am in Iraq, and my wife needed to do safety inspection on the 93 accord. i need to change my tailights. So went on EBay and bought these

I am not familiar with these. So its hard to tell her over the phone and she has little mechanical skills. So how can I tell her what to do. She said the tailights have no lights they came with the frame only they will screw on. so what do I need to put lights or what do I tell her? I dont understand what she is telling me about there is no room for the reverse light. Im guesing there are only two slots. im not sure hope someone can help explain this better to me. and that way I can tell her what needs to be done for them to work...thanks..I need to get this car up and running yesterday....So yup in a rusk right now...Thanks.

Can you ask her to take pictures of the back of the lights? I can't envision what you're describing. Tail lights should be very straightforward, even to someone that has little experience working on cars... so if it's confusing her, there must be something funky with them. It's odd, if they're truly Depo lights, those are usually pretty good in terms of compatibility, and making sense regarding installation. Depo lights are the next best choice after OEM Stanley, usually.

Well from what I understand is that. she said the frame is there but not the light fixtures she said there is only on slot on the tailight and the OEM has two. And she didnt try to screw the fixture in the new one. I will tell her to take pictures. Yea it's hard to understand cause I can envision it either. lol. But she will take pics. Might be up in like 6 hours I have to go to work. and the time difference sucks. I'll update this as soon as I get back from work.. Thanks Deev.

Aftermarket tail lights do NOT come with any wiring or sockets.

When you buy these tail lights, you are expected to remove the OEM circuit boards, sub-harness assemblies, and bulb sockets from each of the four OEM tail lights (held on by Philips screws) and replace them onto the new aftermarket tail light assemblies. This may sound complicated but it's actually a simple procedure.

        Hope this helps!

I can't seem to let her understand so I called a mobile mechanic to do it. Something I could have done and I have to pay someone to do it. Damn..Anyway last deployment for me.
