92/93 headlamps on a 90/90 ???

Does any one have a set of 92/93 headlamps on a 90/91 accord? I am not sure if i need to change both the Grill and bumper.

I just got a set of mint JDM 1 pieces but they are 92/93. I have a 90/90. If anyone can send me a link of pics I would really appreciate it.

The only thing you have to change would be the grill for the 9293 headlights to work

Why won't the 90/91 grill work? are the lights physically longer?

It will work, but the 9293 grill will look a little more flush with the lights
And no the lights aren't physically longer

looks like I might have to invest in a G-square grill. I like the subtle difference in the 90/91 grill. G-square looks close to it but pops out. Did the JDM one pieces come in both styles?

Technically, the grill and the bumper would need to be changed for perfect fitment. The mismatched stuff will work to an extent, but it won't look perfect. There will be gaps.

That suuuuucks. I just installed my USDM fog lights like a month ago.

What is the extent of the change over? Hood, fenders, grill, Bumper etc...?

Yeah, hood and fenders remained the same for the whole generation. The bumper and grille are all you need... but your fogs won't work in the new bumper.

I didn't realize the difference in the lights was that drastic. Wow!

What about being JDM. Was there the same difference in the one piece headlamps as well?

Just for an idea of what it looks like, this is a 9293 bumper with 9091 headlights & grille.



All of the parts are interchangable and do fit, but when you mix and match years is when you get into very minor fitment issues with gaps and stuff. Not stuff the casual onlooker would notice, but little things that annoy us enthusiasts.

BTW in the pic, the bumper looks saggy because the sides are not mounted. However, to my eyes, the 90 lights/grille and 93 bumper look just fine to me.
