ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    xxr 002

hey im gunna git some xxr 002 in red. in a 15x7 +38 offset and 195/60r15 tires i was wondering how these tires would work and if my rims would stick out alot on my car its not lowerd but i want to lower it soon. pics would help thanks

That tire size is exactly what you'll find on OEM 15" alloys. The offset should be fine (generally, 38-42 shouldn't cause problems.)

Yeah your rims are not going to stick out at all. U need a lot lower offset than that for them to stick out. You're probably thinking since they are XXR's there going to stick out regardless (being that the vast majority of cats that purchase XXR rims get them for that particular purpose).

i got the xxr 002 but the size is completely different, i have 16x8 with 0 offset
when i first installed em on my cb they did stick out a lot
so i had to camber the wheels to make em sit flush with the fender
love the look but definitely going through tires a lot faster
the size you are getting should be a good size
            you shouldnt have any problems

Mexi-poke? Thats a new one for me, never heard that term before. I'm assuming u mean Mexicans ride with rims that stick out all stupid and shit. U might be a bit out of line for that...

                    too much poke example:

to the OP, the XXR versions dont look too well(IMO) with those high offsets and a 60 series tire. it'll look ugly. if your still wanting to get those with the same specs then get some 45-50 series tires. trust and believe, no aftermarket rim looks good on a car with a tire size above 50.

It is still not an acceptable term. "******-rigged" is a common term as well, and I sure as hell don't ever want to see that on here.

ericelgrande, please delete your comment. When that happens, I expect all who have commented on it to delete theirs as well. I'd rather not ban anyone for being ignorant (in the actual sense of the word.) But I will if I have to.

15x6.5 and im pretty sure a 40mm offset running Khumo 195/60/15s...this should pretty much be what your looking at, im dropped 2-3" on full coil overs.

My sigpic is my normal wheels, 0 offset but i need tires for those at the moment lol
