ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    fog harness question

Hey guys i just won an auction today on ebay for some fogs. Everything was included except for the wiring harness. My question is do they have aftermarket ones at like autozone or pep boys? I saw that people have used an "apc" wiring harness kit but i tried searching for it online and i have not gotten any results. I just wanted to see what people have used and how difficult it may be to do the install ( i like doing DIY's).

How much did you get them for? I have a partial oem harness but ended up using an after market harness that I got at Napa auto parts for like $8. It's easy to install and I was still able to use the oem switch. Most of the after market harnesses have a universal diagram in the back of the box.

alright thanks man that clears up a lot for me. Yes the only items in the set that i am missing is the harness, because it is coming with a switch, fogs, and pigtails. Did you just go in there and tell them you have a 90-93 accord and they set you up with an aftermarket harness? I just don't feel like having to make a bunch of trips to the store or buy something and open it and then have to return it.

The harnesses are somewhat a universal thing...... generic to fit many applications. I think if you look in the diy section you can find diagrams to help you with hooking up the wires.

I just picked the one I wanted, when I went they had two different types of universal harness one was $8 and had wires a cheap fuse holder and a cheap switch, the second one had the same stuff but this one came with relays as well. I did not feel like I need the relays so I just got the cheap one. I think the hard part is going to be the plugs that go into the bulbs in the fogs if you did not get that I don't know.what you could use for that.

Hey i did get them with a little bit of wire hanging out of the them. Looks like they were cut for some reason. So im guessing i don't need the relays? because i just want to be able to turn them on and off whenever i want to.

I'm using the same type of harness and you just walk in the store and they usually have two different types. 1 with a relay that's probably like $15-$20 and the one I used that just had a fuse and cost me like $8 I think. It even comes with a basic wiring diagram.
