ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I started to research on how to remove it myself. It was going to cost me around $300 to retint my windows. It would be just around $150 for the tint but I have tint already but it wasnt done right and I dont like it. I can install it but I hate doing tint.

it was a great deal plus the tint they use is legit. my tint looks pitch black from the outside but i see clearly at night from the inside

on a side not that video of the steamer is the best way to go if you want to save money and i also think its better than using a heat gun or using pure ammonia to take it off which ammonia stinks .i have removed the tint on my old CB and i wish i new about this because it took me a long time to remove it with a razor blade espically since the tint has two layers the top one comes off easily but the second one which has all the glue is a pain in the fucken ass

It was going to cost more cus they was going to have to remove the old tint first. Thats why I wanted to remove it myself first. Then it would only be around $130-$150 for new tint instilled. Thats for 5% back window/rear doors/strip on windshield, 35% front doors for IN law.

+1 on using a steamer. I've tried using a hairdryer, razor and some rubbing alcohol. Then I was told to use a steamer and that saved soo much time, and require a lot less effort.
