ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I used custom made Weir adapters.

NEVER A PROBLEM, no balance issues, no unusual wear, nothing, and they were made to my specific specifications for the desired offset.

Well so far the machine shop is not answering there phones which is very annoying. I am going to get stuff rounded up to make the adapters this weekend. I will let all of you know how it goes and how they turn out. Thank you burt for ID'ing my rims. I have been curious for quite a while which style they were. Later on I will post pics somewhere of the custom center caps that I am going to machine for these rims as I only have one original one. Will try calling the machine shop next week just to see.

No problem. They are SSR Reverse Mesh look a likes. The difference is the design in the center. The SSR's have that ninja star looking thing and the Riken's just the circle-ish design.

Interested in seeing how your center caps turn out. Good luck with everything

Well e-mailed the shop and I got a call from them yesterday. They want about $200 to do the rims so thats a no go right meow. I also don't have the fundilation to make the adapters this weekend. Damn house and utilities. Also, does anyone know if there is a difference between the front and rear studs on a 93 Accord? The reason I ask is because the parts house I am going to get studs and nuts from lists the front and rear studs seperately and the is a big ol $0.20 difference in price. By the way burt the one Riken center cap is pretty much a direct copy of the SSR cap.

In my accord the hubs are redrilled to 4 x 100. Here in Brazil is almost impossible to find a set of 4 x 114,3. And if I buy new wheels and redrill to 4 x 114,3 I won´t never be able to sell/exchange the wheels. And here is extremely hard to find parts for Accord, so if I choose adapters, it would have to be imported from USA.

Is the adapter expensive? and is easy to mount or put on?

An adapter really could put undue stress on the hub/knuckle/studs... so it's REALLY not a good way to go.

You can find them on ebay. Personally, I wouldn't trust MY life on those things...

If you manage to get it done then more the power to yeah. However, it seems like it would be a lot easier to find another set of mesh wheels in the correct 4x114.3 pattern. Again, good luck either way.
