ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Rear upper control arm

need a bit of clarification. i've seen some accord slammed on its nuts. and i'm looking at my rear suspension with that huge arm in the way. is there a modification needed for that? or will it just move as the height of the car is lowered.? thanks

oh. i see lol. everytime i look at it in my current stock height. it looks almost as through its going to rub against the wheels. but that make sense if itll move upward if i dropped my accord.

that should be a good set up. Depending on your budget, you can find yourself a used set of megan, skunk 2, ksport, etc coilovers for pretty cheap. but a good strut with some GC sleeves should be good. You can always swap out the springs for better ones in the future if you would like. Don't forget that CD accord coilovers will fit CB's good luck hunting and update us when you settle on something

That's a terrible setup. Tokico HP (blue) shocks are made for no more than a mild drop on springs that are no more than 15% stiffer than stock. Most lowering springs other than the ones from Tokico that are designed to work with those shocks are going to be too much for those shocks. Certainly anything from Ground Control will be.

Get Koni STR.T shocks. $250 shipped from neuspeed.com.

thanks for the recommendations ill look into it. only reason i wanted to get the HP blues is because i have a friend who ran HP blue with springs and it rode on clouds it was a comfy set up, but if it is true that HP only run so much than geez i better go for something different, ive been wanting koni yellows but those are SO EXPENSIVE!

what is your budget? I would say if you want to go low then do it right and start with a good set of coilovers. Save up about $500-$800 and there is a wide range of great new and used coilovers that will be in that price range and be from a reputable company.
