Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    how do i make my HID bulb fit

    So my brother gave me g35 hids and they work the only thing is that the bulb is lose and comes out the lamp. I have them being held by ducktape for now till i can find something to get it to seat nice and fit .. so my ? is there something to make my bulb seat nice and fit in the lamp

    get the right size bulbs, are they 9006? if not then... good luck lol

      dont g35's have 9003 bulbs? if so u need 9005 bulbs or h4 if you have one piece headlights.

        im not sure he just gave them to me in a bag lmao. So the only way to make them fit is to change the hid buld it self so it fits? and no sadly i dont have one piece headlights.

          yea, you gotta replace the bulb to fit a 9006 for low 9005 for high for two piece USDM headlights

            one more ? how dose picking your bulb work with the whole 3k 8k 10k .. whats the difference between them .. i want nice white... sorry for the noop ? i just never had hids befor lol

              4300k is oem white.
              5000k is best.

                    i have 5k in my car they really help. its not ricer looking plus it improves visibility.

                      Yeah, 5000 is probably your best bet. I have 6000s and they are very blue. I mean, they look good, but visibility isn't as good as it could be.

                      I'm definetly going with 5000 next time I get a set.

                      And you need 9006 HIDs for your low beams, 9005 for your high beams.

                          cool then 5k is what ima going with. Do i have to get another hid hit to get my highs hid as well ? or can i cut and wire it ? which i dont wanna do.

                            yea 5k it really depends on the brand, 5k for 9006/low and 3200k for 9005/high

                            3200k gives off a yellow light, so you dont have to tint your housing yellow for that

                              Dont cut anything.

                              Check the bulb number on the set that your brother gave you. If they're not 9006 then you cannot use them. Throw them away or give them to someone else.

                              Buy a set of HIDs. 9006 bulbs. 5000K. www.ddmtuning.com is a place to start. Unless you live somewhere where you're going to have your highbeams on for 20 minutes or longer, you shouldnt put HIDs in your high beams.
