Yellow Capsure or Clear Capsule?

I got the OEM fogs for my 93 LX...they are LITERALLY from Japan. Heres my dilemma, im installing them sometime next week however i want the most lumen Output possible. So i was thinking, Paint the capsules Yellow and then get Bright White HIDs(6K) and will it look bright yellow? but i kinda dont wanna do that because they are from JAPAN and they dont make these fogs anymore. ORRRRR do i just get the 3k yellows and leave em clear. What will be best? ANybody done this or opinons? thank you

i know someone who did something kind of like what your thinking of doing, they messed up the whole cover, and now they need new fogs, go with the clear 3k yellow idea, looks sick

As for the OP:
I think regular yellow bulbs is good enough

To the OP if you paint them yellow and put 6k hids in there you'll end up with lime green lights with a yellowish output. Trust me I have Lexus es300 fogs with 6k fogs and thats what they look like.

Just throw some 3k bulbs in there. You can either go halogen or HID.

Luminics makes some pretty darn good halogen bulbs, but for the price of them, you can get an HID kit.

Because that's a greenish output, I'd say that's illegal in about 99% of all jurisdictions.

HID's will give you pretty good output, but I just bought yellow 3k H3's off eBay for $10, they throw out plenty of light and have lasted me 2 years so far.

Thats exactly what mine look like, I honestly hate them they do nothing in fog and just get cop attention which sucks, go with 3k like everyone says u won't regret it.
