I'm so surprised noone has suggested a rubber wheel yet. This is the SURE-fire way to get the stickers off with NO damage. I did it on my '94 MX6 and they came off with no problem. Try that before anything else, they are cheap as hell.

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

If there are stickers on the window you could usually get a rag wet with warm water, and then scrub the rag on the sticker/sticker residue until it's all wet and then use a razorblade to scrape it right off. Be sure to use some pressure, but not a whole lot because the window may get scratched. Hope this helps!

The best would be using a heat gun or hair dryer to heat or soften the sticker one at a time. Old sticker would leave a lot of the dried adhesive stuff on the paint... so then you can just buff it out with a buffer.
If you don't have a buffer... you can soak a small towel with 3M Adhesive removal and push it on the dried sticky stuff for a few minutes...let it soften it up a bit more and you might be able to just wipe it off clean.
A heated razor blade would be the coolest thing since sliced bread btw. lolOriginally posted by HardInThePaintGirls should most definitely rep the shocker. Embrace the shocker.

WD40 will work. Also if you have a sharp razor blade, put alot of whatever you decided and slowly slide razor blade across sticker. DO NOT use pressure, just slide it across. If you have some left you can use paint thinner but you have to be very careful. Take a q-tip and dip it in the thinner and dab it right on top of left sticky stuff and immediately remove it with warm soapy water. DO NOT let sit on paint. If you use paint thinner be very careful.

The best way to remove stickers is actually a rubber eraser wheel that you attach to a high speed cut off wheel tool. Adjust the speed on the tool to a slow speed and let the rubber wheel do its job. Be careful though as the rubber gets extremly hot and if you work one spot too long you will eat through the clear coat. Sounds risky but it really easy to use. The wheel acts like an eraser on a pencil. The only thing you need to do is use a good wax after words as the wheel will strip all cleaners and wax after.

^ eraser wheels are nice but probably overkill for what you want - the wheels run around $25 and there are a few different tools that use them, but the snap-on version is $350-$400. I have also seen people accidently burn the paint by holding the eraser too long in one spot....

i used to be a sign writer and the best way to remove stickers and the glue is first peal of what you can and if you have the skill you can also use a razer blade with out scratching the paint.
once the sticker is removed then use an alcohol based solvent..we have Methilated Spirits in NewZealand which is 100% alchohol. just keep applying the solvent till the glus is gone and it will actually leave the area like new
