ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

    Bumper's with Fogs

I'd like to know if Honda ever made a CB9/wagon bumper (not sedan/coupe) with fogs in them, JDM or USDM or even EDM. If so would anyone know where I could get one or someone that is selling one?

This is for a 91 Accord EX-R wagon.
    Current:
    2007 Acura TL Type-S 6MT KBP

    Past:
    1992 Honda Accord EX-R Sedan - RIP
    1991 Honda Accord EX-R Wagon - RIP 10/14/2010

I believe fogs were a option when purchasing an accord at some dealerships
I also think that there were certain dealerships that installed fogs in the cb9 before they were to be sold

either way you can buy a set of fogs and put them in either 90-91 or 92-93 bumpers

      1) So did Honda ever have them installed right out of the factory? I just don't want the bumper to be cut and looking like crap.
      2) When mounting a sedan/coupe bumper on a wagon with the wagon bumper supports would it still stick out? Or do I have to change the supports?

wagons had different brackets, so sedan/coupes it wont fit without modding.

So fogs were never made for the wagon bumper? (OEM not some eBay bullshit)

Foglights were available on all models. The ones for Wagons are the usdm models with brackets made for the Wagon bumper.

Take off your bumper and you will see the cut out on the back side.

So did every single CB7/9 bumper have the cut outs?
Cutouts mean as it there is the holder/bracket behind it and all I have to do is cut out the part for the fog and do the wiring?

My bumper was destroyed in a accident so I'll be needing a new bumper anyways.

Factory bumpers yes, aftermarket parts probably not.

9091 bumpers you can tell from without taking the bumper off where to cut for the fog lights, while the 9293 there was a faint outline on the backside of the bumper cover that told you where to cut. Also the 9293 fogs came with a rubber trim piece that goes around the hole you cut to make it look nice and clean just incase someone didn't have the steadiest hands in the world.

I have seen a lot of them with fogs (that they don't even use) already installed on them so It was a factory electrical accessory If you have an oem bumper the cutouts should be there also some non oems don't have the cutout but do have the tabs for the screws hope it helps same for some for the 92 92 no cutouts but tabs for screws. my own experience

that ain't bad deal if you need to replace the bumper also. Just locating a set of fogs will be at least 200 bucks dependig on condition and the seller.

I got lucky and found everything on my first and second trip to a new Pick and Pull for around 30 bucks. I haven't been able to find another set since but i did snag me a second OEM fog switch on a later trip.

Isn't that pretty expensive for a JDM bumper with fogs? It's $400 but those ones have big struff marks on them, while there are clean ones but for $500 bucks. But then have a 9293 JDM CB9 bumper with fogs for $500, so temping....

                              Thanks for the link.
