ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

        This.

or 5x114.... too bad its not that simple to go 5 lug.

Most of the time, 5mm spacers are ok on stock studs, as long as you get at least 6 full turns on the lug nut before its tight.

this is just for an example. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/25mm-...Q5fAccessories

I run one in my z and its perfect, there are cheaper brands but I opted for a set of the more expensive ones. They are also hubcentric.
Thanks accordztech, good advice. The H&R, Eibachs, and Ichiba kits are the exact ones that I have been looking at. Like you said, because they are hub centric and come with longer studs and the correct acorn nuts.

I can't decide on the size, would like to take choogee3 advice and go 20mm, but I really wanted to see what it look like first.

Does anybody have 20mm spacer/adapters on stock alloys?

i didnt know you could use 5 on stock studs though i may try that

              best bet: ARP extended studs
MAY have to buy open end lug nuts too im not sure depending on your spacers
and i wouldnt worry about it rubbing the outside of your tire on your fender with that kind of drop
Slamn your dammed.!! If you try a spacer/adapter kit like this one:

              http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ichib...item56407562e6

it comes with extended studs and open end lug nuts, pretty much all the hardware needed. There are also noname brands on ebay also that are half the price with all the same specs and hardware.

Keep us updated if you do decided to get them, would love to see what it looks like on your auto.

I played with my offsets on my 300zx and found what I needed by using thick half inch washers and then lowered the car (some cases couldnt get the nuts back on the studs) and put the wire next to the car.

You can also ADD 20mm or how much you want from the outermost part of the tire, that way you can see where the wheel sits.

remember for ichiba, version 2 has a differnt design than version 1. version 1 isnt an adapter exactly, version 2 is easier bolt on.

This is my thread on how I found my offset on my z. http://www.z31performance.com/forum/...hp?f=2&t=21858
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

^^cb7dazz^^...Big Visors...haha...People need different things for different reasons..Your cars look Bad Ass..period

That Thule wind guard, I was actually going to ask you if you made it or bought it? Its clean..

1st, as for the spacers, do the oustide of your tires rub the inside of your fenders?
2nd, if you did get a camber kit and it were set at zero, do you think it would rub?
                          3rd, any suspension issues?
4th, do you think I could go with 30mm or 35mm without rubbing, you do look almost flush on the back, but I can't tell?

I really want the stock tires as flush as possible with the car, but don't want them to rub. Thanks for taking time out and taking and posting the pics. Your rides inspire me. Any juicy whole car pic's?

Shopping time for me. Can't wait to lower her and buy these...giggle giggle...

the thule visor is a 555 model which is discontinued now, took me a while to find one. after i got it i went to a sticker shop and had them blow up a thule sticker then i laid it down on the visor

1 - none of my tires rub on the fenders, only time it may rub is if im cutting a turn and hit a bump at the same time. my rear wheel arches are rolled because of some previous wheels i had
2 - i doubt that it would rub if i had camber kits, camber is not that bad with my drop
3 - no suspension issues at all
4 - i say the most you can go with stock rubber is 25mm

if your goal is to have your wheels totally flush with the fenders and still rock stock size tires that's not gonna happen, stock tires are way too beefy. you would have to stretch a set of tires on the stock wheels and you may have to run a bit of negative camber

my suggestion is to get 25's and call it a day

thanks for the compliments btw, i have tons of pics just check my threads but here's a couple of my fav's
