for paint it depends its really a matter of you get what you pay for they range from 399 on up

Actually You can remove it, or at least most of it. Mine was covered in it.

The hood was all white and now you can hardly tell.
There will be imperfections, but it can shine again.

I use a rubbing compound first. And you really have to rub it down.
Usually untill your arm feels like it'll fall off.
You will loose a little paint, so you have to balance between how much to rub down.
Then use a product called TR3.
Careful with this stuff it will chemically burn your paint black if you leave it on to long.
Finally apply 5 or 6 wax jobs. Good Luck.
