ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Leather interior from EX ?

So i went to my local jy and found some pretty decent condition leather interior from a EX. I would get the door panels and the seats for $150. My question is Would they directly fit into it, or do i need to add any pieces or something?

Assuming u have an EX, LX, SE or 10th anniversay edition then yes it will fit directly.

Well, they'd fit in a DX, but there would be no place to hook up the power lock and window switches... and no place for the manual DX bits.

Anyway, the EX didn't come with leather from the factory. If you found an EX with leather, it was either a dealer option, or the previous owner took those seats from an SE. The SE was the only model with leather from the factory.
But yes, it will all fit. Coupe to coupe, and sedan to sedan, obviously.

Good score! I recently found a full leather interior myself for my 91 ex-r (though I paid $175 cdn). The donor car was a 93 se, and I found no issues when doing the swap. Hope this helps any.

I love when people ask if coupe parts will fit in their sedan...

Also, it's VERY complicated to install ABS in a non-ABS car. Even the most experienced guys on here would prefer not to do that.

Like... the door panels are completely different... coupe doors are longer.

The front seats are different, especially the rails. The rear seats are slightly different as well.

In other words... find an SE sedan, or buy a coupe. If you buy an SE, you'll already have ABS as well.

well buying another CB is outta the question for the moment. I mean theres a white 91 cb at a gas station for $900 no rust on the quarters at all. but has a leak in the muffler. But iono im not looking to buy another car i wanna stick with this ine for the time being. Until i financially can affod another.

Thats ur best bet. Like already said, the only way ur gonna get leather that swaps directly with no issues is leather from a SE sedan (or a sedan that happens to have leather). The 2 door leather ain't happening, especially with the door panels.

And just out of curiousity, why exactly are u trying to install ABS?

U don't need the ABS to swap rear discs.
