ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Good respectable response. That's why this is such a good group.

The lambo doors I award points to because it's different on a CB and I've never seen one with them, but they just aren't my cup of tea for mods I'd do to a vehicle.

This guy seems like he knows what he's doing, so we give him props for a very nice build he's working on. Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys. We could definitely use more of that type of positive attitude around here. Anyway, going back to my projects, there's other things I'm doing to my cb. A mugen lip is in the works. Just doing minor adjustments to make the lip fit my factory bumper. Redoing the stereo system. My detachable goose neck equalizer just burn out on me therefore, I need to redo the wiring from the radio to both my amps once I remove the EQ. I'm thinking of changing the radio to a full face touch screen DVD player. There's alot going on at the same time, is hard to keep up with everyting. I'll try to post pics.

not really a fan on lambo doors, and couldn't see buying something for $1000 thats just going to add weight, but to each their own. Nice to see they're an easy install though.

can you please help me find a site or something that sells vertical door kits for the cb, a kit that the door itself will meet the fender. not half way like yours...

also i did a quick search, and found a kit for 200 but i dont think it was for a cb.

that shit was prolly made outta plastic..

amazin, these door hinges are still high, when they first came out they were like 1400, and with intall it would be like 1700, crazy, jus for doors, but its a unique thing behind it, youll be the only one with it in a crowd of ppl.

When I took the picture, it was taken from a certain angle as shown in the pic. The car is also lifted from the front being held by a set of floor stands. Therefore, the car is sitting in an angle were the front is much higher than the rear and because of this, when having the door completely open, it appears that the door is just half way up but in reality once the car comes down and the stands removed, the door will definitely look an appear more vertical than shown in the picture. The car is a work in progress at this time.

This is a bolt on kit designed specially to fit 90 thru 93 accords. No welding, cutting, grinding, drilling and mods required. If for any reason the door once open, comes to a certain stop and the door does not appear totally vertical, like some people would rather have it is because the cars door and frame designed does not allow it to come any higher. Physical damage is likely to be caused. Remember, every car is different. In the other hand, there's a lot of universal non-bolt on lambo kits that promises true vertical positioning but what they don't tell you is that it requires you to perform everything that’s mentioned above and then some. Yeah, they might be cheaper in price but the end result would be nothing but headaches.

My cousin as a matter of fact, has been dealing with these types of headaches for some time now because he had a universal kit installed in his 2006 Acura Integra. He's been totally unhappy ever since the installation was done. At first, the door would come up totally vertical but then after sometime later, he noticed that a small dent was made by the door to the side windshield post every time the door was open vertically. This was caused by the door being too vertical, so to fix this problem, they had to bring the door a bit down and make the proper mechanical adjustment from the kit itself. Then body work to fix the dent. Another problem he had was the door not closing correctly. Every time the door was to be close, the locking mechanism on the door would miss the latch causing more dents to the inside area of the door. The door would be either to low or too high.

Because of all this in mind, I went ahead and decided to pay a little bit more for a direct bolt-on kit than going cheaper and deal with the headaches. Although, this may not apply to everyone with universal kits, the installer has to really know what his doing can really make a difference.

I used high temperature brake caliber paint in aerosol can to paint the upper control arms. I had an extra can from a paint job I did to my friends car. I didn't want to spend more money so I used on what I had available. It was perfect because it merely match the red color of the camber kit. I bought the spray can at Auto Zone.
