Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    1 piece jdm headlight, amber corner

    i just bought a set of 1 piece jdm headlights, and i've been searching the DIY to see on how do you make the corner amber but nothing.. please help

    Have to take the headlights apart. Use "JDM" lens spray or some other amber stained glass paint. Mineswell blackhouse your hl's while you're at it.

      I used a heat gun to separate the lense from the headlights and then just use amber stain glass paint or yellow stain glass paint to paint the corners

              Do i need the jdm paint or would the spray can from Michael's or a crafts store work?

                He means "JDM" lens spray paint they sell on eBay & other websites for lights.

                As for the paint they sell @ Michaels they only carry yellow. Cap is orange ish though. Don't get it unless you want your corner lenses yellow. You're better off ordering "JDM" lens spray online. It supposedly works better and don't have to clear it.

                  No the yellow paint from Michaels is fine, thats what I used to spray my USDM corner lights, you just have to spray alot of light coats on it until you get the desired orange tint you want...with enough coats of yellow it will turn orange.

                    Really? I've seen some members corner lenses after they did multiple coats (5-8) of yellow Krylon stained glass paint and it didn't turn orange. Weird..

                        omg how much did u pay for them, i honestly looked for them, and cant seem to find them, and why not do your high beams while your at it?? thats what i want to do, so i can run them as fogs all day!!!! lol
