ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Hood Alignment

I got a question about the alignment on my hood...

The other day i was rewiring my fog lights and my buddy was helping me. well the dummy put the hood prop in the wrong spot. Well from the looks, i think the hood is bent or something. I got a picture of it, but i cant get it at the moment. I need to know if it is just the alignment on how to fix it. im a noob at hoods. lol i dont mess with them. lol

thanks though, ill get the picture asap.

well its kinda hard to help out without any pics, but if you want to align the hood this is how ive done it.

Hood has 4 bolts (2 on each side)
remove the 2 front bolts and LOOSEN the 2 rear
lay the hood down (dont close all the way) align the hood as you wish, slowly open it witout moving it and have someone ready to tighen those 2 bolts, after that, install the 2 front bolts back and your done. Hope that helped

thanks guy for the info but it was a very stupid thing that was putting it out of alignment. when i rewired my lights i had my electrical tape out, welllll it was sitting under there and pushing it up on one side. lol so slow. didnt see it at first. it blended in. haha

but thanks for the info, ill use it for future purposes.

check to make sure the bolts are tight first.

If they are good, then if you put the rod on the left...GENTLY twist the hood to the left...visa verca...all you did was torque it over to one side a hair...all you want to do is reverse it...could just put the hood prop on the opposite side too.

Unless your bolts are loose of course.
