ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I understand where you are coming from. I myself dont have any ebay stuff on my suspension except my rotors but they are pretty solid, dont think they would break that easy. Was merely stating that i know of some people that have ebay suspension parts and no accidents...were you racing or doing any extreme driving? just curious

I was driving home from work at 65mph, on a 65mph road. I don't drive like an idiot on public roads.

See how big that nut is.

The other option is to get anchor kits. Where it'll actually push the control arm out ward.
Yeah that big ass nut doesn't help. But what I was sayin was regardless of that nut or a smaller nut ur UCA is gonna hit. The ball joint style slides forward and hits and the anchor bolt style pushes the UCA forward and it hits. So like I was sayin it doesn't matter the style or brand of camber kit, ur gonna run into that problem.

There are other members and local members with accords that are dropped lower then me, and have no problems with the upper arm hitting the frame. I'm going to just replace the whole top arm with out the camber ball to see if I can get away with it. I just don't like smashing the shit out of my top frame well.

Do they have a camber kit? If they have a camber kit and they are slammed out and they're camber is at 0 or close to it, then they are hitting or atleast used to. They may have corrected it. Of course if u run no camber kit then yeah of course u won't run into that problem so maybe u should do that if ur not willing to bang out ur inner wall or whatever. Also I'm not even sure why ur sliding ball joint has such an enormous nut on it. I've never seen one quite that large. Most of the ones I've seen are sorta flat like.

They don't have kits on theirs. I get annoyed seeing my tires butterfly. As for the giant nut. It was before they decided to fix the issue.

Well ur pretty much damned if u do damned if u don't. U can run no camber kit and while u won't run into the hitting issue ur wheels will bow out. If u have the kit then ur wheels will be str8 but u will hit. My advice is, use the kit (try and score a flatter nut tho, ur right I'm pretty positive that adds to the problem but like I said in the earlier posts it'll still hit cuz the UCA) and bang out the small section that is hitting with a hammer. Thats what I did, I can't stand negative camber so I got the kit and hammer the inner well where it hit. Resolved my problem all the way nice.
