side mirror alternative

im looking into different styles of side view mirrors that i can put on my cb but only finding the m3 style with led lights i was seeing if had something like that style with no led. or anything else other than the jdm power folding mirrors

If only the carbon spoon civic mirrors would fit the CB...I would try to DIY them, but I don't want to pay for something that might not work.

I got the m3's, I'm waiting when i get my parts and car painted to get them painted and installed. i've seen em around, i think they're pretty cool it's a change of pace from the stock CB mirrors. as great as the cb mirrors look, i kinda wanna change up the image a bit, and plus you can wire them up to function with your turn signals! I like that, because i don't want to cut my fenders for sidemarkers.

they're quite sturdy too. the adaptor plate might need to be modded up a bit (one of my screw holes doesn't line up) so you need to find some way to adjust, not too hard. this isn't to say that each set is gonna have a hole off, but keep in mind that it could happen, but don't let this deter you from having these as an option for side mirrors.

PS: the mirrors aren't as wide as the stock mirrors. I chose not to get the one with the Arrow Signal in the mirror because i didn't want it filling up my mirror while i signal... I've never tried looking into a mirror with the led turn signal built into the glass part of the mirror, so i didn't want to take a chance at having my vision reduced. O_o what did i just say? lol

yea i wanna get the m3 style one but i dont like the led's i think if i end up getting it i will body work over it and paint over the lens cause i personally think if the stock mirrors didnt come with it stock then shouldnt have it. but yes it is nice to have that extra signal so the car next to u can see u trying to turn.

sounds like a good idea and then you won't have to deal with routing all that wiring maybe try them on before you do the bodywork on it and see how they look first? i think signal mirrors are pretty neat. lol but i could see them without the led's too, i imagine them to look pretty sleek!

yea its sounds like a sick plan but i keep finding the ones with leds on the mirror.. thats fail but i'm still in search for the ones on the car i posted up i think its clean those mirrors
