Cigerette Liter n car isnt workin..

ok the cigerette liter n my car isnt workin n i cant figure out why..i checked all the fuses n they r good. bought another cig liter piece n tried that n it doesnt work either. wats my problem??

Remove the cigarette lighter and check see if its plugged up in the back. If it is plugged in try replacing it. Just hit up the JY and get one.

take a voltometer and see if the wires are hot...its on a parallel circuit so if the fuse was blown the radio n antenna n junk wudnt work....most likly the power wire is broken or it isnt grounded right...good luck

its probably the pin connector that slipped off or something. But in order to get to it, you're gonna need to remove the radio/dash trim.

wont need to move the dash trim cause it doesnt even have a radio n it. n the pin is connected.

I hope you get this fixed soon I kno how important a cig lighter can be, gps, cell phone charge, etc.

My case now, I can plug in a phone charger or gps, but when I plug the lighter in and want it to get hot it doesn't.

one way to see if its HOT and i would never recomend is just tapping the + n - wire together.......see if it sparks....just do an overlay wire to a fuse thats hot and then ground the biotch!!! Goodluck

i got the sig lighter working. turned out that the power cord for the radio and cig lighter was burned out. so i replaced it and radio n sig lighter works fine!!
