OEM font lip question??

Already ahead of ya on that idea. Was even thinking of cutting a small rectangular vent slot on each side after they're molded.

You should look into a legend lip. I think it's the 95 lip. I can't remember which one but there's a legend lip that has rectangular cutouts that looks good on our cars. Oem and precut

Thanks guys. Honestly, when I had the idea about doubling the lips up, I thought it was going to look rediculous and thought when I posted it on here people would be like WTF?

When I have some time,I am definetly going to attempt molding them together. I think I might have to use some sort of a silicone to stick them together, and then maybe fiberglass over the seam, and then clean up the ends so they're straight and even.

We'll see. It'll be a good weekend project.

Here's a couple closer shots of the lip. As I said, it's all held together with about 10 zipties at the moment.

This has actually been done before but this is another mod that I have no clue right now of who did it. It does look good though. I don't think the other person I saw it had them molded though. I guess it could have come from the "Lowes Racing" garden trim lip hanging down further than the oem one lol.

i know this is a stupid questions but can anyone give me instructions on how to take off the bumper because i want to take out the headlights and put halos in them, btw does anyone have halos in there cb7?

yup im really happy with it. he kept his xenon lip and i gave him my ex lip and i feel weird riding lipless haha. i really want a legend lip! they are hard to come by.


and there is really good write up on bumper removal somewhere on here, just search. Its seriously makes it so easy if its your first time.

yeah Brandon, I was going to get a Legend lip from a member on here in trade for some parts, but I already had the EX lip, so I just went with that.

However, I like the current look better cuz of the way the sides are lower than the centre on the EX lip.

Yeah I actually like the EX lip too. I have one now but in the near future it will be gone probably. It depends on what i can find in the junk yard this weekend. If I come across the legend lip i'm looking for then yeah the ex is long gone lol. I'm really going there for a door and a couple of small interior pieces though. If I can't find them then hell why not look for some other stuff. I like the cf lips but I know my ass would break that bitch within the first month.

I just bought a 91 coupe ex and it needs the interior door handles. It has a tan interior though. Time to go smoke. Be back in ten. I know how to paint though lol. The only thing is I can get them for 5 bucks for the pair at the junk yard.

I think now maybe I'll make my own lip. Gonna figure something out. The stock EX lip is boring imo.
