ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Actually, those are the headlights from the parts car.

I really didn't enjoy doing this project, and not happy enough with my results to do it for someone else and be paid for it.

Oh,on another note, the fog in my lenses seems to be slowly going away. I noticed after I had driven around with my lights on there was much less fog in them when I got home.

oh no worries, but you didnt had any issues in taking out the headlight and putting them back on? is it easy? I am thinking about buying those ebay 1 pc headlights and i suck at taking the bumper off

I think I had my bumper off in about 5 minutes. It's really easy. There's a nut on each side in the engine bay, one infront of the battery, beside the coolant resevoir, and one on the other side below the cruise control, right by the alternator.

Then take out the bumper lights and theres two 12mm bolts on each side behind where the lights mount. Then, on the bottom of the bumper, there is one 10mm bolt below the corner lights, and then 2 screws on each side on the back of the bumper in the fender well.

To get the headlights out, there's two 10mm bolts on the top of the radiator support, 2 plastic brackets with 10mm bolts behind where the bumper would be, and one 10mm bolt on each side under the corner light. Once the bulbs are disconnected, the headlight assembly will slide right out.

I had my bumper and lights off in about 15 min.

I'm a chrome and black kinda guy. I like both equally. The grille has black and chrome...so do the lights. So it evens out.

Little update. The fog is going away in the lights. It's concentrated just in the high beam area right now. Otherwise they are looking really good!

Light output is still the same and overall, I am very happy with the end result of this mod!
