ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

u can do both friend, but if u dont want that super glossy look, use the adhesive promotor.

actually i recommend that shit 1st, then throw the paint on, every time i see like that show TRUCKS or w/e. they spray that on, then the paint, i never see them do adhesive, primer then paint.

id rather take that step, u want something the primer to stick good

very 1st diy, royal blue and white.

i just sanded, primered, painted, let dry for a while dont even think about touchin it, your print will b in the paint...

there a few didd ways to get this job done, theres no 1 way, there are a few ways, but there are proper ways.

I've painted the interior of my car in my eclipse and also my accord with no problems at all. If you prep it right and take care of it it won't be a problem. If you half ass it and just paint it then it turns out like shit. If you're talking about the carpet, I would spend the time it takes to dye it. It may take longer to do but it's also the cheaper route instead of buying new carpet. either spend more money and buy new carpet or spend less and take more time making sure it will last.

i swapped out my tan clothe and installed the navy blue/blk leather factory seats with the tares and rips, along with the stock leather door panels, and later painted my a pillars blk with kylon blk for plastics i put 3 light misting coats and the rest kind of just covered the rest, i did clean and prep all my plastics with kylon burnt red self eching primer 1st
and ill have those pics up with in the week

i have also in the past used the dupli color vinyl paint and it works but depending on how much traffic you have in and out of your car as to how long before it starts too chip off

Looks like mine, of course now I have taken all those parts out and they are laying in the trunk. If someone wants them I will gladly get rid of them.
